Don called the meeting to order and introduced speakers Peter Powell and Lauren Powell of Powell Development Co. They presented again the master plan for Fred Meyer and other retail and housing projects on 50+ acres between Cooley and Robal along US 20. They said the biggest change and reason for the delay in plans is the roundabout required by ODOT at Cooley and US 20. Nevertheless, cost sharing discussion should be completed by June and plans for Council approval by October 2018. Many good questions and comments were exchanged including concerns for banks, restaurants, trees, lightning, drainage, transit, bikeways and the timetable.
