Boyd Acres Neighborhood Association Board Meeting via-zoom 08/10/2020

Attending: Cindy, Joan, Tom, Kathy, Jim
Considering new applicants for board positions. We have 2 applications to review (wonder how this will work for the BANA annual meeting –will we have to “invite” each participant). Votes by email.  All existing board members are back in. Prizes to a selection of those who voted. Voting on applications:

• Kelsey Price –lived in Bend for 15 years, married, divorced, lived overseas, no board experience, has not been active in a NA, interests –more trails, safe transportation for all. Works for BPRD,  --ACCEPTED pending interview.
• Taylor Dyer – 3 years in Bend, tech background, better quality of life, maintain home values, maintain safety. ACCEPTED pending interview.

(Kathy at NLA 4-6.) None of the guest speakers want to be on facebook. Where is the link to the meeting –on FB, in brochure. Cindy will be there early and give folks time to sign in. Could someone be checking the Boyd Acres e-mail. We may have to turn off video. Chat box questions. Welcome speaker 1 and then she will introduce others in her group. End at 6. Kathy will ask board members to say a few words about themselves. Then announce results of elections. Introduce 2 nominees (Joan). (Jim) Announce by law amendments –announce ballot results on bylaws. Newsletter, lands use changes. Cindy will say a final goodbye. If time before meeting ends, we will have finance update, NLA update, biz update.
