Board Meeting March 31, 2021

Survey: Discussed tweaking some of the questions, how info collected would be used, cost of a longer survey, relationship to city-wide survey. Joette is going to make some slight changes. Board would like this to go out prior to the city-wide survey.
Three board members have responded to the draft survey. Based upon those responses Joette was able to send a sample of the bar charts that will display survey results. She has sent the sample to the board.
Arbor Day Tree Planting: Joette has arranged for a tree to be planted at Ponderosa Elementary. The BANA board voted to appropriate up to $200 for a sapling to be planted on the Ponderosa Elementary School entrance. Joette is working with the 5th grade teacher on the habitat / tree planting lesson plan for April 22. School district will dig the hole. It is planned for April 22 (Earth day) at Ponderosa Elementary School. Invite the media, BANA board, other to the celebration.
Evacuation Routes: Joette wants a practice day for evacuations. Yes, let’s pursue. Longer term process than 3 months.
HY97 will go over Cooley –Tom sees problems ahead. Changes to come to our neighborhood.
Fire Safety Day –April 22 with CWNA. Could this be our member meeting also? Consensus is yes.
Need to check on whether we need to renew Zoom subscription. No we don’t.
Welcome cards - Cindy will provide more cards to be mailed to new residents. There are 21 new sales since Feb. 2, 2021.
Next meeting will be April 22 in conjunction with Century West on Fire Safety and Firewise landscaping.
